How does acupuncture work

How does acupuncture work? Acupuncture is based on the belief that there are approximately 2000 acupuncture points (trigger points) throughout the body. By facilitating balance.  As acupuncturists, we're often asked, "How does acupuncture work?" A quick search on the Internet reveals a variety of theories ranging from the simplistic to the overly complex.

It does not work through the nerves, or some physical and chemical response.

This is the best way I know to explain how it works.

Think of your home. Is in the air that passes through it. I do not see, but you can feel and know when there is not.

How does acupuncture work

The body is as smooth air. As you breathe, you make it too "spiritual" and flow. You can not see them. You can not cut them, and you can not find a dead body. When they float, they washed the body parts and physical flows also has an effect on blood flow. They have the intelligence of the "intelligence of the body" of the body. These tunes are so-called chi, meaning life or life force.

Acupuncture has mapped in detail and these tunes have learned to use them.

Return to our home as an example. If you lock the doors and windows and disappear for a week or two when you return, it is very formal. This is like a sick body. Cancellation of the disease has opened the doors and windows of the house to do arias still declining.

The art of acupuncture is to know exactly where the doors or windows open to get the results you want in the shortest time.

These doors and windows in the body are called acupuncture points and each has its own qualities and special effects and "rooms" of influence, to allow air flow.

Continue to our explanation of acupuncture works.

Explaining the five elements of air

A house is aligned with the four compass directions. The body is aligned with the five elements.

Each party must be breathing to keep the five elements in balance.

It's breathing, which occurs through the acupuncture points and some points are in line with an element to another. For example, it is more aligned to the fire is called a focal point.

When you think of the house, the air is not one, but five different types of air flowing to keep the balance. Everyone has a different temperature, humidity, wind speed, viscosity and weight.

And air to flow in and out of each door or window. What are we trying to achieve the right balance between comfort inside the house and all rooms are served.

In the body of the rooms are the channels (meridians) and doors (and Windows) are the points and we all want to work responsibly. Doors open and close when necessary, to adjust the conditions and balance in the body without conscious intervention.

Sometimes, like a window will interact negatively with the air of another window. This is called the destructive cycle. At other times you will support each other, and this is called the cycle of creation. In this case, a door opening will support the open side and the air flows, etc.

To get the feel da chi is related to the sensation of the air flow in your body, like the feeling of air flow in your home. In your home, sometimes you can wet your fingers and put in place and this will help you to feel. The sense of feeling like chi comes from your fingers.

Sometimes a fan can be used to help the airflow. It need not be in its entirety. A rate is adjusted to best effect with minimal intervention. Use the fan is related to the toning and sedation with needles. After getting the feeling da chi turn right or left hands to circulate the Chi in the desired direction for the desired result. We learn to feel when you are successful and when you stop turning ..

As for the location of the point I will say my fingers have eyes on them and they are listening to see the points. While my fingers are alive and the energy flows from them at all times. When running my fingers over an area that feel the change in resistance to the flow of chi in the fingers of the body of my client. This gives me the location of specific points on skills.

For healing is needed to ensure the windows are open. You may have to go and come back later. Sometimes, the effects last only three days, sometimes seven days and sometimes more permanent.

Now, with the house, one must consider changes due to seasons and to the doors and windows Iin adjustments accordingly. Thus, in the winter, there will be fewer open windows, and summer again. In addressing a serious need to examine the effects of seasonality.

Over the seasons there is a period of 12 days between them when it is useful to erase the effects of the previous season and prepare for the upcoming season. You have the spring cleaning.

Another fact to consider in your home, the effects of light. This can be changed through the curtains. The "seasons" of light is through the equinoxes and solstices. Thus, the winter solstice (June 21 in the Southern Hemisphere and December 21 in the northern hemisphere), the light begins to increase, and this time the horse begins to lose hair, but it is not full winter in another month. This shows how the horse is associated with the sun as a solar creature. Horses do not like being inside for too long.

The word acupuncture brings many thoughts to people's minds. Acupuncture works on the body's electromagnetic energy, known as chi or qi. So how does acupuncture work to regulate the flow of qi.
